Behind the app screen is a passionate fully remote team working from 12 countries — that’s over 50 people with a shared mission to help our users experience real-life adventures, on foot or by bike. Your key responsibilities

  • Own and drive the web design of core komoot products and take a lead on individual UX work streams
  • Conceptualize original web design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks, and improve and optimize landing pages
  • Develop new layouts and interfaces and implement them in CSS and JavaScript
  • Create mockups, prototypes and user flows to communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Come up with new features as well as improve the existing ones, test ideas with users and run A/B tests
  • Work closely with other designers, backend team members and product managers in quick iteration cycles based on real feedback from users

You will be successful in this position if you

  • Have 3+ years of experience as a Web designer, UI/UX designer or similar role related to web-based products
  • Can clearly demonstrate and apply your outstanding skills in developing and implementing layouts, interfaces and user flows
  • Are highly skilled in HTML, CSS, Figma, and Sketch and have a good knowledge of JavaScript
  • Have an excellent eye for design and attention to detail: you’re obsessed with designing awesome products that users love
  • You are up-to-date with the latest web technologies, techniques, and features
  • Have experience working in a remote team, hand in hand with developers
  • Have good communication skills and enjoy working with teammates in quick iteration cycles based on real feedback from users

The Growth Operations Manager will play a key role at Remote Year. This person will bring a vast toolkit of both sales and operations-related methods, practices, and ideas, and be equally adept at implementing those strategies into successful sales team operations. Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sales operations, including both strategic elements (processes, quota alignments) and operationally (tools)
  • Manage Salesforce: update workflows, debug issues, build reports, and handle other administrative tasks
  • Monitor key sales metrics, analyze results, and provide reporting and recommendations to the Head of Sales on appropriate actions
  • Work closely with the heads of Marketing and Sales to implement opportunities to improve sales management tools and processes that support sales strategy
  • Optimize sales efficiency by refining processes and making systematic enhancements and resolving operational inconsistencies and bottlenecks that are slowing down the sales team
  • Liaise with product teams, marketing, operations, admissions, and onboarding teams to ensure communication flow is timely, consistent and productive
  • Lead third party tool administration and contract/vendor management
  • Quickly and accurately perform detailed sales analysis in response to ad-hoc requests

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of sales operations experience in rapidly growing organizations
  • Salesforce Certification, and familiarity with other sales/customer tracking tools
  • Advanced Excel skills – confidently manage large data sets
  • Documented experience developing and managing sales methodologies, processes, policies and procedures
  • High level of ability to read, analyze and create reports on large complex data sets utilizing appropriate tools
  • Experience in marketing operations, both in process, reporting, and automation tools is a plus
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with Pardot is a plus

Things You Might Do

Zapier is a small, fast-paced company, so you’ll get experience with a little bit of everything. That said, here are some things you’ll probably do:

  • Build rapport with each member of the product design team and work hard to help them level up their skills
